 Newly renovated in 2020 Chalet Marmotte is simply stunning and has been beautifully decorated for guests to enjoy.  Nestled on a quiet track in Plagne 1800 with panoramic views across the village to Aime 2000.  The Chalet is a short easy walk to the piste, bars, shops and restaurants.  There is also a free shuttle bus stop a minute's walk away that will drop you off in Plagne Centre or Belle Plagne.

OUR 'LOVELY CHALET' SERVICE

Chalet Marmotte is a fully catered ski chalet.  You will be welcomed with refreshments as you arrive to toast the beginning of a fabulous week!  We aim to provide the very best service we can, so if you have any special requests during your stay with us we will do our utmost to accommodate you, and of course the more notice the better so please contact us in advance.  
BREAKFAST

We will offer you a hearty breakfast before you head off to the slopes.  Every morning you can enjoy a traditional French breakfast of croissants, pain au chocolat, cereals and yoghurt, or why not try one of the hot options served on five mornings during the week. We have mixed it up a bit and Julie has chosen different dishes to serve you during your stay including English Breakfast, Spanish Eggs, Eggs Benedict or our favourite Pancakes!  

AFTERNOON TEA

After a hard day on the slopes every afternoon (except Wednesday, due to staff day off) there will be a delicious cake for you to enjoy on your return to the chalet, or if you prefer a savoury option, Julie will be only too happy to rustle up her famous sausage rolls served warm from the oven.  Then relax and soothe the aches and pains in the outside hot tub.

DINNER

Enjoy a selection of canapés followed by a 4-course dinner on 6 evenings; you will enjoy a starter, main course, dessert and finally a selection of local French cheeses to enjoy.  We have carefully selected a traditional menu for you which will include:

Starters Game Terrine, French Onion Soup, Baked Camembert
Main Courses Boeuf Bourginon, Tartiflette, Fondue, Chicken Cacciatore 
Desserts Pavlova, Tarte Tatin, Cheesecake, Lemon Tiramisu

CHILDREN'S MEALS

We are very happy to serve children’s meals in the early evening upon request.  We offer a variety of yummy healthy home cooked meals that your children will love. 

DRINKS
  
Complimentary local Red and White Wine and Beer will be available after 5pm daily (except staff day off), carefully selected to suit the menu.  Delicious tea, coffee, infusions, herbal teas, hot chocolate and soft drinks will be available at any time.  Additionally the Company will run a bar for responsible consumption of gin and other alcoholic beverages as Apéritifs and Digestifs to complement the Evening Meal.  


GIN & SPIRITS TROLLEY

We have a selection of gins and other spirits for you to purchase at very reasonable prices.  Alcohol purchased from the drinks trolley must be paid for at the time of consumption in accordance with French Law.

ON OUR DAY OFF

Continental breakfast will be served on Wednesday morning; Julie and Rich will then take the afternoon and evening off.  Julie and Rich will be very happy to recommend a number of local restaurants for you to enjoy and book a table for your party.

NOT A SKI ADDICT?

For those in your party who do not ski there are many walking routes to enjoy across the resort and we can show you the best ones.  We can offer pizza making classes, assist with spa and massage opportunities or you can simply relax in front of the log burner, watch a movie or read a book.

THE LOVELY CHALET COMPANY

PRICES, DISCOUNTS & SINGLE SUPPLEMENTS

Prices shown are the full Adult price.  Guests can book individual rooms or on a whole chalet basis (see below).


Children under the age of 12 (on the day of arrival) will receive a 10% discount. Those dining in the evening rather than enjoying an earlier 'high tea' child’s meal will be charged £30 per child for the week. 


Children under the age of 2 (on the day of arrival) are charged at £100 each. A high chair and travel cot will be provided but does not include baby food or bed linen.

CHALET MARMOTTE - SINGLE OCCUPANCY FOR SOLO TRAVELLERS

Chalet Marmotte has one single room which allows solo travellers to stay without incurring a single occupancy charge.

REDUCED OCCUPANCY

Any empty bed(s) in the twin or family rooms will be charged at 50% of the adult price.

If our twin rooms are already booked and you are travelling as a couple / pair, we would really like you to stay with us in Chalet Marmotte.  We may be able to accommodate you in a family room; please contact us to confirm the price and availability.

CHALET MARMOTTE - WHOLE CHALET BOOKING
